A tasty breakfast is served in our beautiful conservatory dining room, usually around 8.30/9.00 a.m. – the ideal time and place to watch the village waking up to a new day.
We source our food products as locally as possible...
- The village Greengrocer brings our fruit and veg from market
- Our eggs and milk are delivered from Windermere farms
- Our sausages are Cumberland of course
- Our coffee is roasted and blended by Farrer’s of Kendal
- Our bread comes from the Bakers next door
Help yourself to the breakfast buffet, the buffet table is topped with Lakeland slate to keep everything cool:
Fruit Juices - Milk - Cereals - Seeds – Grapefruit Segments – Prunes - Fresh Fruit – Dried Fruit - Light Greek Yoghurt
Choose from a cafetiere of fresh ground Farrer’s coffee or Nescafe we serve both regular and decaffeinated or choose a speciality pot of tea:
Breakfast - Earl Grey – Darjeeling – Ceylon – Assam – Camomile – Peppermint – Jasmine - Green - White - Decaffeinated
Fresh Toast or Crumpets are served at your table and we cook our full English or Vegetarian breakfast to order you can have the full breakfast or choose a lighter option:
Unsmoked Back Bacon – Cumberland Sausage – Black Pudding - Or Vegetarian Sausage -
Eggs, cooked to your liking - Hash Browns – Baked Beans – Fresh Mushrooms – Grilled Tomatoes
Or Scrambled Eggs and Smoked Salmon on Toast - Or Boiled Eggs and Soldiers - Or Omelettes
Special dietary requirements can be catered for upon request.
The ideal location of Easedale Lodge means you are only a few minutes walk from every restaurant, pub and cafe in Ambleside.
Fill your flask at the Lodge and order a tasty pack-up from The Filling Station either before breakfast, or the day before. Collect it on your way out for the day – choose your sandwich and add crisps and drinks but don’t forget the home-baked cakes!
